Training and Development at Ardentis

My journey at Ardentis began as a young dentist fresh out of the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Geneva. From the outset, I was struck by Ardentis’s sensitivity to my concerns and needs as a young professional. This attention provided me with the opportunity to participate in the surgical mentorship program.

Through a carefully planned six-month schedule, I had the privilege to shadow my surgical colleagues once a week. These sessions allowed me to observe procedures that I had not yet practiced or seen during my university training. I commend the dedication of my mentors in fostering both my practical skills and theoretical knowledge.

This program enabled me to acquire essential skills in surgical practice, radiological analysis, and stomatology. I wholeheartedly recommend other young dentists to seize this invaluable mentorship opportunity within the Ardentis team.

The mentorship program allowed me to learn many new things upon my arrival in Switzerland and at Ardentis. If we had to learn these things while working, we might risk making administrative errors that could disrupt the clinic’s operations. With busy schedules, it’s crucial for new dentists to focus on providing optimal patient care, leaving little time to learn “on the job” about Dentagest, creating estimates, billing, and dealing with insurance matters.

With less than a year of experience in orthodontics, I needed the support of more experienced orthodontists for complex cases. Participating in clinical sessions with them was like ongoing training, allowing me to continue learning and advancing.

The ITI Education Week has long been a cornerstone in oral implantology training. I was pleasantly surprised to find that even fundamental aspects were covered with such depth and clarity that even the most experienced implantologists could benefit from a useful reminder of best practices.

In addition to this, the week also included sessions dedicated to innovative tips and ideas, capable of enhancing the practice of seasoned practitioners. The opportunity to exchange ideas with peers and explore new perspectives was particularly enriching.

The fact that Ardentis supported part of the cost of this excellent training underscores their commitment to the professional development of their members, further enhancing the value of this event.

My appointment as Clinic Director at Ardentis in Collombey was complemented by an opportunity to undergo Management training for Medical Executives. This experience was crucial in developing my skills in communication, team management, and problem-solving within a rapidly evolving medical environment. I am grateful to the management for this opportunity, which has allowed me to grow professionally and contribute to the values of the Ardentis Group.

My recent training in management for medical executives has been a rewarding experience. The personalized sessions allowed me to develop skills in management and leadership tailored to medical challenges. The exchange of experiences among participants was particularly enlightening, offering new perspectives.
